Something not working, or a question about using KineticClassroom in your classroom?

If a bike will not connect
- Pedal for a few seconds. Cadence sensors go to sleep when the pedals stop, and only wake up when they move.
- Check Bluetooth is on in the iPad's Control Centre.
- Check KineticClassroom is allowed to use Bluetooth. Go to Settings, Privacy & Security, Bluetooth, and make sure KineticClassroom is switched on.
- Keep the iPad within a few metres of the bikes.
- Replace the sensor battery. Most sensors use a CR2032 coin battery. A weak battery is the most common cause of a sensor that keeps dropping out.
- Close and reopen the app. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen, swipe KineticClassroom away, then open it again.
Which sensors work
KineticClassroom works with standard Bluetooth cadence sensors. It has been tested with the Garmin Cadence Sensor 2 and the Wahoo RPM. Buy a sensor sold for cadence only. Some sensors switch between speed and cadence mode by reinstalling the battery, and in a classroom they can end up in the wrong mode without anyone noticing.
Which bikes work
Any under-desk pedal exerciser that is low enough to fit under a student's desk and quiet enough for a shared classroom. The sensor clips onto the pedal arm.
